A History of the Symbols

The Lord has directed countless people and organizations that have contributed to the journey of the Witness Symbols.  His hand has always remained evidenced in how mightily the symbols are being used and we thank Him for this great story!     

The Witness symbols have been used in sharing the life of Christ for generations, but they were first made available to the public in 2005.  A small business in the Christian Bookstore industry launched the items under the name Primus, which means First in Latin, and plays off the many names of God relating to how He is The First and The Last.  Throughout the launch of these products, Primus was solely committed to the development, manufacturing, marketing, and licensing of the symbols, gift items and books based around them.     

Primus quickly realized the significance these symbols have on people’s hearts, and the deeper meaning they attest to that goes far beyond any words can describe. As Primus continued to spread this message the Lord’s hand remained evidenced by the Christian individuals that have always remained close to the symbols.  Often times these individuals have not been the ones in the spot light, but they have always remained the ones praying the Lord work His will and guide the use of the Witness symbols.   

Today King’s Witness works in connection with Primus and Christian Brands to offer you the complete collection of Witness goods as we continue to bring you new items nearly every month.  We pray the Lord continues to use each of us as well as the symbols to spread His story!
